Activism. Rebellion. Democracy.
In the spirit of the global change that we are witnessing with the beginning of 2020.
ARD is an entrepreneurship movement build to accompany activists & rebels in building democratic practices, systems and environments that will act as the agents of change they seek.
The movement aim to empower the people by providing a platform for positive democratic development.
In time where activism is high, different problems rises in real-time that needs direct execution of possible or probable solutions.
Hence a cycle based system of 3 phases of brainstorming, planning and execution results in a minimum viable solution (MVS) that tackles urgent matters for activists to test, sustain or scale their impact.
To emphasize on the importance of having a consumer and a creation mindset while developing any solution, we developed a rule that allows the systematic management of a cycle based on a sequence rule of 369 - 555
369 stands for: compassion, idealism and creative expression.
555 stands for: freedom, exploration and change.
Change is constant. It is around us and within us. It’s known to be infinite and a natural phenomenon that is present in our space and time.
Being always in a constant state of rebellion, activists can benefit and be inspired from this sequence to create sprints by hours, days, weeks or months depending on the circumstances and variables of their problem and solution. The sequence is used as a stress management philosophy that distributes focus and balance input and output to optimize the results of any performed project.
The rule allow who abides by its logic to create a short term deliverable that is managed by the amount of resources dedicated to create value at and for a certain period of time.
On the contrary of organic growth, the value in this system, is the result of brainstorming, planning and execution coexisting and continuing each other that yields a tangible outcome.
We believe that we are entering a great period of change and the way we manage our time will make all the difference. To beat time, we need to plan it, understand it and work with it.
Recourses are scarce to exist in all the fights in the name democracy and justice.
Suggest a Policy
When presented with a contextual need for innovation, the best use of the human and technological resources is the management of expectations & assets.
Hence a cycle then is a key operation system that supports asset creation & develops a striving environment that delivers strategic outcomes.
To understand how to manage a cycle you have to take into the consideration the following elements:
1- The cycle is a tool adopted to reduce and manage stress resulting in an increase in performance and creativity.
2- The cycle is a tool redesigned to channel and divide focus resulting in an increase in drive and flexibility.
3- The cycle is a tool developed to capitalize and scale input resulting in an increase in value and return.
Understanding that our cycles operate under the sequence rule of 369-555, we suggest that the cycles operates under these three different phases that manage commitment and expectations:
1- Hourly: (assessing ideas and executing low commitment operations)
a- 3 hours of brainstorming
b- 5 hours of (rest, assurance, review)
c- 6 hours of planning
d- 5 hours of (rest, assurance, review)
e- 9 hours of execution
f- 5 hours of (rest, assurance, review)
2- Daily: (realizing value and executing low to middle commitment operations)
a- 3 days of brainstorming
b- 5 days of (rest, assurance, review)
c- 6 days of planning
d- 5 days of (rest, assurance, review)
e- 9 days of execution
f- 5 days of (rest, assurance, review)
3- Weekly: (developing solid long-term projects and executing a high commitment operation)
a- 3 weeks of brainstorming
b- 5 weeks of (rest, assurance, review)
c- 6 weeks of planning
d- 5 weeks of (rest, assurance, review)
e- 9 weeks of execution
f- 5 weeks of (rest, assurance, review)
